Little White Dress in Imerovigli

As mentioned in my last post about Santorini, we stayed in Imerovigli, a small village between Fira and Oia.

The two main benefits of staying here were 1) the same gorgeous caldera views as Oia at lower price and 2) it was less crowded and noisy compared to other parts of the island.

In fact, we didn’t see another soul while we were taking these photos. That definitely helped me feel more comfortable standing on top of the some of those ledges and perches! The wind was so strong, though!

We stayed in the small boutique Afroessa Hotel, which we adored. However, if you’re interested in more places to stay in Imerovigli, check out this list of top hotels here.

This dress is from Shoshanna. I bought it months ago and never had a chance to wear it. At the last minute before we left for Greece, I remembered it in my closet and quickly threw it in my luggage… I’m so glad I did because it was the perfect Santorini dress…

While the Shoshanna brand has been around for years and I’ve admired many pieces, I’d never bought anything from her before. Based on the fit and the nice quality though, I am now officially a fan!

This Shoshanna Dress is now available here, but it’s worth checking out the Shoshanna website for others. I saw so many things I loved there!

  1. Mary, this dress look so lovely on you, it’s such a perfect summer dress and how gorgeous is that seascape!? Wow! I love that there wasn’t anyone else around, that feeling is beyond amazing. You can truly soak up your surroundings, with no distractions or fear of disturbing anyone, you can just be! Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you’re having the best week so far, beautiful!
