Lightweight Military Jacket

Is it mid-May? Because the weather this week in DC was COLD!

Last Saturday, I went to an outdoor Cajun festival in the area and the temperature averaged in the low 50s all day.

Most of my warmer clothing items are packed away for summer, but I managed to pull out this Ann Taylor military jacket to keep me warm last weekend. I topped it with a floaty orange scarf for a somewhat summery touch.

At this festival, I tried crawfish for the first time.

Hmmm… I’m not sure about these little guys. First you have to get over that they look like little aliens. Then you have to come to terms with cracking them open with your bare hands.

I did love all the sides though including the jambalaya, the grits, and the red beans.

Have you ever eaten crawfish? What’s your take?
