Afternoon in Tulum

Enjoying beach and Mayan ruins at Tulum, Mexico

One day on our Mexico vacation, we did an excursion to Tulum, an ancient Mayan site on a cliff overlooking one of the dreamiest beaches I’ve ever seen.

If you find yourself in the Yucatan Peninsula, Tulum is a must-see!

You can probably tell from the photos that it was blazing hot, but it was fun walking around the stone paths, walls, and archways. The vegetation is so interesting and there were plenty of iguanas to entertain us.

Our reward after visiting the site was that crystalline beach below!
