Window Pane Motif

Wearing fall and winter’s popular windowpane print trend.

While I love how fashion is constantly changing, I don’t tend to be one who buys items to follow specific trends. Instead, I lean towards classics that can be worn for years to come.

From time to time, though, I do already have things in my closet that fit with a current trend like this windowpane scarf and top from Ann Taylor. I love when that happens!

I recently paired them with a color block coat from Karen Millen for a casual warm winter look.

Do you follow trends or go for timely pieces when you shop?

  1. I agree that the windowpane print is a fantastic print since it is always in style. I love that you had this top and scarf in your closet already. They look like something you would find at the store today. I also love your coat. It looks great with your top and scarf. Have a wonderful day!

  2. I definitely stick to classics; that’s why I love shopping at COS – the clothes are minimalist with clean cuts and are wearable for many seasons. You created a very elegant look; I guess it matters more that one displays good taste, rather than trendiness.

  3. Great coat! I love the patch work design. The coat, though it has several different colors, its still a neutral. Such a great piece to have in your wardrobe. You have wonderful style.
