When I saw this Just Cavalli lace silk dress recently marked down by 50% at Nordstrom, I jumped on it fast. But given the price, I first resolved to find a way to wear it through all seasons.
While it’s probably meant to be more of a warm weather dress, the luxuriousness of the fabric and lace make it perfect for the holidays. It was quite a chilly day when I wore this, so I paired it with a structured wool military jacket for a winter white holiday look.
I love the old-fashioned 1930s style of the dress and the sheath silhouette can actually be worn in different ways. Right now, I’m imagining this dress in so many scenarios for spring and summer… belted a slim leather belt, topped with a menswear vest, and paired with cool python booties.
