Plaid Fit and Flare Dress for Workday

3

This plaid wool fit and flare dress by Betsey Johnson is one of the most comfortable articles of clothing I own, which makes it perfect for a workday. I wore it last Friday for the start of the long Columbus Day weekend. I was able to leave work early and enjoyed a lunch date at Cheesetique, specialty cheese shop and one of my favorite restaurants in the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria.

This wonderful European cheese shop offers dozens of local, regional, American, and imported cheeses. The best part is that they serve the most delicious grilled cheese sandwiches.

Dress: Betsey Johnson (blue plaid not available, but green plaid here, Shoes: Coach, Purse: Kate Spade (larger version on sale now!)

As always, I love sharing my outfits of the day with you all here. But I’d love to get to know you more. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think about the fit and flare dress trend. Are you a fan?

Thanks for reading!

  1. So excited about your wonderful date and outing on Friday! The Cheesetique seems like my kind of place to visit just because I love Cheese and it also reminds me of my visit to Switzerland where I fell in love with so many little cheese stores I came across:-) Love your dress and the way you styled it. Perfect outfit for the fall and it is super cute! You look beautiful! Have a marvelous week! xoxo, Jeannette
