Weekly Inspiration: Parisian Cool

As we head into late late summer, I’m getting inspired by the cool street scenes in the city of lights. This week, I’m wearing a few light and airy summer items, and sincerely hoping we get a break in our heat wave, so I can mix them with some more fall-like  items (I can’t wait to wear black leather again!).

Tuesday Tips and Treasures: V05 Hot Oil Therapy

I was one of those girls growing up who never wanted to cut her hair. I would let it grow so straight and long until my mom forced me to the salon.

When I was a teenager, I discovered Vo5 Hot Oil as a way to keep it strong and nourished, and all these years later, it’s still a favorite. In fact, I use it about once a week these days, since I use so many heat styling tools on my hair.

The best thing?

With the massive range of pricey hair treatments out there, you can buy V05 Hot Oil Therapy at a drugstore for just a couple of bucks. Such a great value.

Do you have a favorite drugstore hair remedy?

Weekly Inspiration: Last Days of Summer

Hiya Monday!

The last few days, there’s been an ever so slight change in the air… very subtle and nothing I would call FALL yet. But I do feel something different (or maybe it’s just my own anticipation for the new season).

Late summer/early Fall is a beautiful place in the DC area. This week, I’m inspired to get Quinn to the beach one more time, take advantage of all the late summer harvest, and while I don’t stricly follow the rule about white after Labor Day, I do plan to enjoy a few white summery items while weather still permits.
